Privacy Policy
This is a plain-language starter policy. A full version is on the way; what's below is accurate to how the site works today.
What we collect
- Your account: your email address and a password (stored hashed by our sign-in provider), used to sign you in and to verify your email when you claim a profile.
- What you choose to share: your profile, companies you add, claims and job posts.
- Saved jobs: private to you. No employer, and no one else, can see who saved a job.
- Emails on file for listed profiles: kept private and used only to let the right person claim their profile. They're never shown or published.
- The weekly email: if you sign up, we keep your email address, whether you've confirmed or unsubscribed, and when each of those happened. It's used only to send the Monday email, and only after you click the confirmation link we send. No account needed.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your information or share it with advertisers.
- We don't run ad trackers.
- Company logos are hosted on this site rather than loaded from third parties, so your browser isn't telling other companies what you're looking at.
Services we use
The directory runs on Neon (database and sign-in) and is hosted on Vercel. The map is drawn by Mapbox, which receives the map area you're viewing in order to send map tiles. The weekly email is sent through Resend, which receives the address it's delivering to.
Public information
Company listings, published job posts and listed profiles are public by design, and company data is published as open data. A profile is public only while it's listed. You can unlist or delete yours at any time, and it comes off the site immediately.
Your choices
You can edit or delete your profile from your account. Every weekly email has a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom, and unsubscribing stops the email immediately. To delete your account, remove your address from the email list entirely, or ask what we hold about you, email hello@spokanetechjobs.com.
